The Importance of Brand Identity:
Everything that we create, whether it is a website, print ad, photograph or logo, there is one thing that ties it all together, and that is the Brand Identity. With any project, we take our client’s brand into account, even if our client doesn’t realize it has a one.
“75 percent of knowledge comes to us visually”(1). In other words, it is important that what people see is what we intended them to see. Even if you are a small “mom and pop” shop, you are communicating your brand identity with business cards, signage, menus, website, etc. The important thing to remember is that even if you are not aware of it, you are communicating something to your clients or customers; just make sure it’s what you want.
There are real benefits to having the right Brand Identity, especially in today’s economy. People are spending money. They are just being more selective about where and with whom. Having the right brand identity connects you with your clients’ or customers’ purchase-making decisions. In other words, with the right brand identity, your perceived value tells people you are worth it.
“In the last recession, companies that invested in their brands out performed their peers (Competition) when economic growth returned”(2). In other words, be ready now.
We understand the importance of breaking projects down into small, affordable prices without sacrificing the bigger picture (Brand ID).
