Every year Families in Schools goes to Sacramento to advocate the importance of family integration with childhood education. This year, Families in Schools asked us to design their Advocacy Day campaign materials. We were excited for the opportunity not only to design an entire program, but also to participate in such an important cause. SportLites Packaging – Dimensional Advertising

Studies show that a good response rate on a flat printed mailing is about 1% – 1.5%. Dimensional or package mailings receive an astounding 10%-30% response.

Our project was to design a package to be used as a promotional mailer. We were supplied some exceptional images that our client photographed himself. Different types of sports balls were photographed to emulate the photographic style of the client’s images. We then designed a logo for out client’s product and incorporated all of the graphic elements into one finished piece.

Avon – Gift with Purchase

We were tasked with designing Bond Girl patterns for custom made handbags being given away as a gift-with-purchase for Avon’s Bond Girl 007 fragrance promotion.

The project started with several designs and comps in Photoshop. The final design selected was turned into a jacquard fabric. The fabric was applied to different types of cosmetic cases and handbags to test out which was most suitable for the market. The final design was a tone on tone black cosmetic bag, which can be seen in multiple international print ads.

New BUB Logo

The Brandon Ummel Band presented a unique challenge for redesigning their logo in that they already had a nicely designed logo that captured the feel of their music.

Our approach was to push the design a little further without losing the feel of the original. Scalability of the logo was also important so that it could be shrunk down for mobile social media sites or enlarged for concert banners.

Capturing Talent in a Bottle – Creating the Ernest L. Thomas Website

In additon to photography, another equally important part of creating the Ernest L. Thomas brand was his website. The intent of the website was to showcase his range of talents as well as organize all of his active projects. Ernest is quite the prolific actor, constantly working on a variety of projects, supporting causes, making appearances, etc. We wanted to capture his multitude of activities into one concise easy to understand website.
